BALTIC EXCHANGE APPOINTS NEW SENIOR FREIGHT MARKET REPORTER
The Baltic has announced the appointment of William Lyth, formerly of Paccship (UK) and Clarksons, as Senior Freight Market Reporter.
He joins the London based Baltic Exchange team responsible for the production of its daily shipping indices and fixture lists.
Baltic Exchange Chief Executive Jeremy Penn said:

William Lyth’s career in shipping began in 1972 when he joined shipbroking firm Clarksons where he remained until 2005 rising to become director of the company’s dry cargo division. From 2005 he worked as a chartering manager for Paccship (UK) where he was responsible for marketing of panamax and post panamax vessels on the European, North and South American markets as well as chartering tonnage and booking spot, forward and contracts of affreightment.
