Baltic Exchange Vessel Check

The Baltic Exchange Vessel Check, powered by Lloyd’s List Intelligence data, provides an objective and reliable overview of a vessel’s sanctions exposure and Port State Control (PSC) deficiency and detention history.

Users can search by vessel IMO number and/or vessel name. Where a vessel has not been subject to sanctions, PSC deficiencies, or detentions within the previous seven years, the search will confirm this outcome.

Where sanctions apply, the search will return:

✔ Current and former vessel names

✔ The name under which the vessel was sanctioned

✔ Vessel owner (where available)

✔ Current and former registry

✔ Vessel type and tonnage, where available

✔ The sanctions programme and source

✔ Date of the most recent record update

Where PSC inspections, deficiencies or detentions apply, the search will return:

✔ Vessel name

✔ Dates of deficiencies and detentions

✔ Inspection location

✔ Applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)

✔ Nature of the deficiency or detention

✔ Relevant information relating to the inspecting port
