With reference to the implementation of the IMO 2020 sulphur cap for the Baltic indices, members should be aware of the following guidance given to Tanker Panellists for reporting from 1st January 2020.
 

  • All routes will be assessed and published basis the 2020 flat rates, regardless of how the market is fixing.
  • All TCE calculations will be based on LSFO (0.5% sulphur) unless in an ECA zone where LSGO (0.1% sulphur) will be applied. Forward curve calculations will be performed on the same basis.
