Attended by 900+ shipping professionals globally in Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Athens and London.

For the third year the Baltic Exchange and Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers present a series of lectures, intended to support personal development and aimed at those working in chartering, trading and operations roles.

Taking place every other month and including lunch where appropriate, lectures are free to employees at Baltic and ICS member companies. However, lectures have been taking place as webinars, free and accessible to all during COVID-19 pandemic.

The series is aimed at supporting those developing careers in shipping and encouraging better advocacy across a future generation of industry leaders and is supported by all the major broking houses and a wide cross-section of principals. Designed to inform and stimulate debate, recent lectures have included a look at the environmental impact of shipping; shipping cycles; ship finance and freight derivatives.
