Category: Consultation:  Cessation of the TD18 - 30,000mt Baltic to UK Cont’ (Tallinn to Amsterdam)

Following market engagement and Panellist consultation the Baltic is inviting members to submit feedback regarding the cessation of TD18, TD18$ and TD18 TCE .

Details of how to respond to the questions are set out in the consultation paper, which is available to members here  ( TD18 Cessation Consultation )  The Baltic requests all comments by 30 April 2026.

The paper briefly summarises the feedback received by the Baltic through its consultation process to date (which remains ongoing).

At the end of the consultation period, the Baltic will collate all feedback received and submit a summary of responses to the Baltic Index Council (BIC) for its consideration. The BIC is then responsible for determining whether the cessation of TD18, TD18$ and TD18 TCE is warranted and necessary.
