Following an internal review, it was noted that the DSPA and the TSPA headline indices did not follow the same convention of other headline indices, being based on the magnitude of 1,000.  The index started with a magnitude of 10,000.  The BIC has approved a change to the multiplier to reduce the index to a magnitude of 1,000 and to apply the change to the historical data. 


From 25 October 2022, the DSPA and TSPA headline indices will be calculated by applying a multiple of 100 and the historical data set will be restated.
