Category: Consultation:  Cessation of the TC16 - 60,000mt ARA to Offshore Lome (Amsterdam to Offshore Lome)

Following market engagement and Panellist consultation the Baltic is inviting members to submit feedback regarding the cessation of TC16 and TC16 TCE .

Details of how to respond to the questions are set out in the consultation paper, which is available to members here (TC16 and TC16 TCE Cessation Consultation).  The Baltic requests all comments by 4 March 2026.

The paper briefly summarises the feedback received by the Baltic through its consultation process to date (which remains ongoing).

At the end of the consultation period, the Baltic will collate all feedback received and submit a summary of responses to the Baltic Index Council (BIC) for its consideration. The BIC is then responsible for determining whether the cessation of TC16 and TC16 TCE is warranted and necessary.
