The Asia Dry Freight Derivatives Forum, will take place during Singapore Iron Ore week on 26 April at SGX Centre 1 in Singapore. 

The Forum is the main annual conference for bulk freight derivatives in Asia. Hosted by the Baltic Exchange with the FFABA and open to all market participants as well as traders looking to find out more about offsetting and taking advantage of freight rate volatility.

The Forum opens with an FFA Workshop giving attendees real marketplace insight into benchmarks, baskets and working examples of owner/charterer hedges and options from senior industry execs. Focus then turns to FFA clearing, indices and a business update on market growth from the CEO’s of SGX, the Baltic and FFABA Chair John Banaszkiewicz before the Forum’s keynote analyst presentation is given.

Lastly, after a networking lunch, the spotlight’s on fundamentals as two panels of industry experts give their perspectives on freight market fundamentals and the future for the FFA market and counterpart liquidity growth across Asia.
