In recent years Baltic Members have formed a society (BFS) affiliated to The Lloyds Fly-Fishing Society (LFS). This excellent organisation gives members access to a wide selection of fishing at extremely competitive rates and hosts a very well attended annual dinner at the HAC. A small core of Baltic members have greatly enjoyed this affiliation to date and now want to open it up to the wider Baltic community. Fly-Fishing is a great way to spend time with friends, colleagues and clients and this offers a great way for Baltic Members to meet and fish.

To promote the BFS we are delighted to offer an outstanding day of fly-fishing on a first come first served basis. We have reserved fishing for eight rods on The Test at Marsh Court, just outside Stockbridge in Hampshire, on 28 September. Marsh Court has both easy fishing on small carrier streams and more challenging fishing on the main river so it suits both experts and beginners. Furthermore it is stocked with plenty of fish, including some real whoppers. It also has a truly delightful thatched fishing hut on the river bank where refreshments and lunch will be served. The day is being generously supported by The Baltic Exchange and organised by a Baltic Member, thecountryagent.com at a specially discounted rate.

Places will be available on a first come first served basis for a heavily discounted £150 per rod which includes lunch and refreshments; to reserve your place or more info about BFS, please email duncandunn@ssy.co.uk. Novices are welcome, tackle can be supplied for a nominal extra fee but we wouldn’t recommend the day to those who have not fished with a fly before.
