The Baltic Exchange’s Chairman’s Cocktail Party returned on 13 May for another memorable evening, welcoming more than 425 members and guests from across the global shipping and maritime community.

Widely regarded as one of the highlights of the Baltic calendar, the event brought together shipping professionals for an evening of networking, celebration, and reconnecting within the historic surroundings of Christ Church Spitalfields.

Guests enjoyed live violin performances alongside an extensive selection of canapés, buffet dishes, champagne, and drinks from the bar, creating a vibrant and relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening.

Speeches were delivered by Baltic Exchange Chairman Guy Hindley and CEO Mark Jackson, who both reflected on the strength of the Baltic community, the continued importance of collaboration across the industry, and the ever evolving landscape of global shipping.

Attendees were also reminded of the Baltic Exchange RNLI Salcombe Lifeboat Appeal, with encouragement to support this important cause through donations to the JustGiving page.

With an exceptional turnout and a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening, this year’s Chairman’s Cocktail Party proved to be another huge success. Guests continued networking and socialising well into the evening, making the most of the opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends from across the industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a memorable occasion.
