Baltic Racket Sports Club brings players together on the padel court
The Baltic Racket Sports Club hosted another thrilling Padel Event on Friday 27 March at Stratford Padel Club, delivering an afternoon full of competitive play, networking and plenty of action on the courts.
With 36 participants of varying skill levels, the event brought together a lively mix of seasoned players and newcomers, all eager to showcase their talent and enjoy a Friday afternoon away from the desk!
The day began with round-robin matches across four groups, each featuring a dynamic mix of participants. After some intense and exciting group stage matches, the four group winners advanced to the semifinals.
In the first semi-final, Griff & Chris Symes from Clarksons faced off against MOL’s Matt Cannon and Fulmar’s Calum Healey. In a tightly contested match, the Clarksons duo narrowly edged out their opponents with a 6-4 win to secure their spot in the final.
Meanwhile, the second semi-final saw Fulmar’s Iain Macleod and Jules Ferguson take on MOL’s Nealish Makanji and Roberto Fatias. Fulmar proved too strong on the day, overcoming MOL with a 6-4 victory setting up the final.
The final match delivered all the excitement the crowd had hoped for, as Fulmar’s Iain Macleod and Jules Ferguson faced Clarksons’ Griff & Chris Symes. After many exceptional points and rallies, the Fulmar due claimed the title with a 6-3 victory, capping off a fantastic day of padel and becoming our first Padel Champions for 2026.
Following the final, participants and spectators enjoyed a well-earned networking session and drinks at the bar, rounding off another memorable event.

Looking ahead, the Racket Sports Club have the Fehr Cup booked for 19 June for tennis on the Grass and the inaugural West London Padel event in Earls Court 28 August.
