The Baltic FFABA Forum brought together around 45 industry professionals in Geneva on 1 October for an afternoon of market insight, discussion and networking.

Hosted at Hotel d’Angleterre, the forum featured presentations from John Banaszkiewicz, Chairman of FFABA Dry, Stefan Albertijn, Chairman of the Baltic Index Council, and Stéphane Bernhard, Chief Executive Officer of CAMMS Capital. The sessions provided updates from across the market and perspectives on the future of FFA trading, before moving into a panel discussion and audience Q&A.

A key focus of the discussions was benchmark migration and the importance of maintaining stable contracts and RICs. Speakers and attendees also discussed the continued development of the FFA market, including opportunities to broaden participation and enhance efficiency.

The forum brought together a strong cross-section of the industry for an afternoon of valuable market insight, discussion and networking, with conversations continuing over drinks and canapés at Chez Philippe.
