Gordon Southcott

Members will learn with deep regret of the passing of Gordon Southcott on 12 March 2026.

Mr Southcott was first elected a Member of the Baltic Exchange in 1964. He represented Thornton Chartering Co Ltd from 1974 and became a Retired Member in 2011.

He also served as a Baltic Exchange Director from 1997 to 2002.

His family will hold a private Cremation, with a Memorial planned later.
