Retired members reunite at annual Baltic lunch
The Baltic Exchange recently hosted the annual lunch for retired members at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall. Welcoming 130 attendees on Thursday 30 April, the occasion began with a drinks reception before guests sat down to enjoy a lunch in the elegant surroundings. The event provided a perfect opportunity for retired members to reconnect and share memories.
A speech was given by Guy Hindley, Chairman of the Baltic Exchange, who offered warm reflections on the enduring contribution of the members to the Baltic. His remarks also highlighted ongoing developments within the shipping industry and the importance of maintaining strong ties across the community.
In addition, guests were reminded of the Baltic Exchange RNLI Salcombe Lifeboat Appeal, with encouragement to support this important cause. Donations can be made via the JustGiving page.
