The inaugural Baltic Exchange 20/20 Cricket Cup brought together teams from SSY, Howe Robinson, Braemar and Clarksons for an afternoon of friendly competition and networking at Trinity Fields, Wandsworth with the Final and third place play-off taking place simultaneously.

Played in glorious summer sunshine, the annual tournament once again provided a great opportunity for colleagues from across the maritime industry to connect, with support from spectators throughout the day.

Following the semi-finals, SSY and Howe Robinson progressed to the final, while Braemar and Clarksons competed for third place.

Braemar secured third place after winning the toss and batting first. They scored 187 for 3 wickets in 20 overs. Orlando Macdonald-Buchanan scored 32, Will Halliday 33, Harry Allen 26 and Will Gee 23. Saurabh Dahl took two wickets for 28 runs.

For Clarksons, Josh Bland and Barney Baker each scored 31 runs, while Chris Symes added 30. For Braemar, George Delamain took five wickets for 10 runs, with Rahul Aggarwal taking two wickets for 33 runs.

The final between SSY and Howe Robinson was played in excellent spirit. After losing the toss, SSY were put into bat and scored 200 runs from their 20 overs. Robin Hudson, Charlie Russell, Will Currie, Raef O'Brien and Max Hill each scored 25 runs for SSY. Archie Prior took 2-28  In reply Howe Robinson were up with the run rate at the halfway point with Will Hardman making 45 and Andrew Price 22, before being bowled out for 165. Will Stocker had figures of 4-30, while Ben Taylor took three excellent catches as SSY secured victory in the inaugural Baltic Exchange 20/20 Cricket Cup.
