Baltic Exchange was pleased to attend the official launch of London International Shipping Week 2027 (LISW27), held last week at the offices of Norton Rose Fulbright in London. The event marked the start of the countdown to LISW27, which will take place across London in September 2027, bringing together leaders from across the global maritime industry.

The Baltic has long been a supporter of London International Shipping Week, with Jos Standerwick, Head of Membership at Baltic Exchange, serving as Chair of the LISW Steering Committee and Baltic CEO Mark Jackson also sitting on the committee. Both attended the launch event, which brought together more than 250 representatives from shipping, government and the wider maritime community, providing an opportunity to connect with key industry names and organisations.

Keir Mather, UK Shipping Minister, addressed guests at the launch, highlighting the importance of maritime to the UK economy and the sector’s role in supporting growth, jobs and innovation.

With London International Shipping Week firmly established as an important fixture in the maritime calendar, the Baltic is looking forward to playing its part in LISW27 and helping to showcase the importance of London’s maritime community.
